THE DETAILS BELOW REFER TO LAST YEAR’S EVENT. THIS YEAR’S EVENT WILL BE CONFIRMED LATE SPRING
The event will be housed in two marquees in the historic grounds of Hay Castle in the heart of Hay on Wye and will be open from 10am to 6pm daily.
Makers working in ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, metal, wood, basketry, stone, mixed media, leather, printmaking and paper will be exhibiting throughout this three day show.
Hay Castle was magnificently restored and reopened two years ago to great acclaim. Free to wander the Great Entrance Hall, gift shop and fabulous cafe, there’s a small charge to explore the upper floors and ongoing exhibitions. Well worth it. Hay town has a plethora of bookshops, cafes, independent shops and old taverns.
The main festival site is a 15 min walk from the Castle or there’s a shuttle bus opposite (next to the town’s main car park) operating at regular intervals throughout each Festival day. The site is free to enter and wander the many bars, cafes, food hall and vast bookshop. Tickets for events will go online from late March/early April.
